§ Mr. Kenneth CarlisleThe incident on 2 October 1991 occurred after a Dutch F16 aircraft operating in the vicinity of Yeovilton suffered a generator failure and was diverted to the airfield for a precautionary landing. The aircraft's emergency power unit had been engaged and in line with standard procedure a safety check was conducted to ensure that there had been no hydrazine fuel leak. On this occasion the unit had functioned correctly and there was no leak.
