§ Mr. CurryThe horse is an agricultural animal when it is engaged in agricultural activities. The Department takes the lead role on EC legislation covering animal health questions concerning horses, zootechnics and competitions. It is for other Departments to take the lead on matters that relate to their responsibilities.
