§ Mr. Michael ForsythCertain hand operated nebulisers may be prescribed by general practitioners, and where the patient is not exempt, a normal prescription charge is levied. Powered nebulisers are provided free for domiciliary patients through the hospital service if they are considered by a hospital consultant as being clinically necessary.
