§ Mr. Archie HamiltonRates of local overseas allowance for service personnel stationed permanently in Norway were increased on 1 September 1991 following a full review. A reduction in the rate of local overseas allowance payable to some service personnel on temporary deployment to Norway was implemented without the normal period of notice. This reduction has now been rescinded.
