§ Mr. ForthNo bodies are entitled to nominate candidates to the Commission. My right hon. and learned Friend the Secretary of State, is required by the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974 to consult such organisations representing employers, employees, local authorities and such other bodies, including professional bodies, as he considers appropriate before making appointments to the commission.
