§ Mr. Gwilym JonesI have today made £2 million available for the discretionary use of district health authorities and £1.6 million as a contribution towards the provision of MRI equipment at Morriston hospital and for a mobile unit based in north Wales. In addition, authorities will be invited to submit bids for resources which I intend to provide as a contribution towards the capital cost of providing better day surgery facilities. Over £1.5 million is set aside for this purpose.
