HC Deb 30 June 1992 vol 210 cc486-7W
Mr. Blunkett

To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment what plans he has to make reductions in levels of city challenge funding for 1993–94 and 1994–95; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. Redwood

[holding answer 29 June 1992]: City challenge expenditure on pacemakers and round 2 winners will be £82.5 million and £150 million per annum respectively for five years. There are no plans to reduce these amounts. No decisions on future rounds of city challenge have yet been taken.
