§ Mr. NorrisI have no immediate plans to do so. I am, however, well aware of the situation concerning the improving state of road and rail infrastructure in east London and Essex. We are pressing ahead with investment in the area. The Queen Elizabeth II bridge at Dartford has relieved congestion on the M25 and we opened the new east London traffic control system last February. The modernisation of the Central line is now under way and work has started on resignalling of the Great Eastern line out of Liverpool Street station.
