§ Mr. BaldryThe use of derelict land grant (DLG) is governed by rules based on the provisions of the Derelict Land Act 1982, and guidance issued by Her Majesty's Treasury. Under these rules the Department makes grant available to local authorities, private firms and individuals, and voluntary organisations for the reclamation of derelict land. Local authorities and other persons seeking grant should contact the appropriate regional office of the Department for advice on the availability of grant for particular schemes.
