308WA multilateral agreement covering all countries in the European economic area—EEA—including the United Kingdom, Switzerland and Liechtenstein, is expected to come into effect on 1 January 1993. Under this agreement, the European Comxamunity social security regulations for migrant workers will be extended throughout the EEA.
