§ Mr. CurryWe plan to introduce an environmental set-aside scheme under the agri-environment measures agreed as part of the common agricultural policy reform measures. This will not necessarily resemble the US conservation reserve programme which focuses primarily on preventing soil erosion and improving water quality.
