§ Mr. JackHome Office funding for local victim support schemes, provided by means of a grant to the national organisation, Victim Support, rose by 28 per cent. to £6.9 million between 1991–92 and 1992–93. It is set to rise a further 15 per cent. to £7.9 million next year. Within broad parameters agreed with the Home Office the allocation of those funds to individual schemes is a matter for Victim Support.
