§ Mr. MorganTo ask the Secretary of State for Employment, pursuant to her answer of 16 June,Official Report, column 497, and to article 6.4 of the Training and Enterprise Councils Operating Agreement 1992, if she will list those chairmen of TECs who have left the post because their company or partnership (a) ceased to achieve an annual turnover exceeding £5 million, (b) no longer met the requirement of at least 25 full time employees., (c) voluntary reasons and (d) other reasons.

The following table shows that of the 26 TEC chairmen referred to in my previous answer, 10 left for voluntary reasons and 16 for other reasons such as retirement or geographical moves which meant that they were unable to retain the chairmanship.
