§ Mr. HanleyIt has been decided that the Department of Agriculture for Northern Ireland should cease to provide livestock recording and testing services to pedigree cattle, sheep and pig breeders. The Department is consulting the relevant interests in the livestock industry about future requirements for such services and, if they are to continue, how they would be organised and financed by the industry. The future of the test stations at Loughgall and Antrim will be decided later in the light of the response from the industry.
