§ Mr. David HuntThe latest estimate of the cost of all elements included in the £147.7 million—that is construction of the barrage and associated works (including the Wentloog lagoon), acquisition of land and rights and protective provisions for groundwater and water quality—is the total of £152.5 million (at 1991–92 prices) included in the financial memorandum to the Cardiff Bay Barrage Bill introduced in November 1991.
