§ Mr. MacleanAirborne concentrations of smoke and sulphur dioxide and acid deposition have been measured at Government monitoring sites in the county since 1987—and for some years before. A survey of nitrogen dioxide concentrations was undertaken last year as part of our national study to compare results of an earlier survey in 1986. All the monitoring results have been published in reports by Warren Spring laboratory and copies have been placed in the Library.
