§ Mr. MacleanThe United Kingdom is committed to two targets under protocols to the convention; to return our annual emissions of nitrogen oxides to 1987 levels by 1994, and to reduce our annual emissions of volatile organic compounds by 30 per cent. from 1988 levels by 1999. We remain on course to meet both obligations.
