§ Mr. MatesMy right hon. and learned Friend the Secretary of State has regular meetings with the chairman of the board of the international fund; the last such meeting was on 8 June. The Government are conscious of the valuable work being carried out by the fund which is making a significant contribution to the economic and social regeneration of the areas in which it works. We look forward to maintaining close contact with the board which is performing such a significant role.
