HL Deb 17 June 1992 vol 538 c14WA
Baroness Jeger

asked Her Majesty's Government:

What conclusions have been reached on the future of Heveningham Hall.

Viscount Astor

My Lords, HM Government's decision not to exercise their right to purchase the Hall was announced on 10th December 1991. It is now for the receivers, Messrs. Cork Gully, to market the building in the light of the district council's views as local planning authority on what uses will he acceptable. I understand that the marketing is due to take place later this summer.
