§ Mr. Lennox-BoydThe know-how fund is a technical assistance programme and most of its projects are in sectors where environmental impact is limited or non-existent; for example privatisation, management training, accountancy development and the stimulation of small businesses. For those know-how fund projects with environmental aspects, the criteria used are the same as those operated for the rest of the UK aid programme. There is a tranche of the know-how fund that is available specifically to fund environmental projects.
