§ Mr. BurtThe most recent estimate, for May 1990, is that 28 per cent. of households in Scotland receive some of their income from housing benefit (rent rebates and allowances). The corresponding figures for 1988 and 1989 are 29 per cent. and 28 per cent. respectively.
