§ Mr. SoamesSince 1985, the structure of the state veterinary service has changed several times. For example, the Central Veterinary Laboratory, which formed part of the state veterinary service attained agency status in April 1990. In order to allow direct comparisons, the figures provided relate to veterinary, technical and scientific staff in headquarters, the field and investigation services only.
