§ Sir George YoungOn Tuesday this week, my right hon. and learned Friend published for public consultation a new draft planning policy guidance note on planning and pollution control, which fulfils a commitment in the environment White Paper "This Common Inheritance". We also published the results of a research study, commissioned to inform in the preparation of the draft PPG. My right hon. and learned Friend expects to issue the final version of the PPG, in the light of responses to the consultation draft, later this year.
