§ Mr. LeighI and my officials are in regular contact with the textiles and clothing industry. We share its view that its best interests will be served by an early and successful conclusion to all aspects of the GATT Uruguay round, including the phase-out of the multi-fibre arrangement linked with strengthened rules and disciplines over international trading practices.
