§ Mrs. Gillian ShephardI shall next be meeting European Community Employment Ministers at the Social Affairs Council later this month. Whenever I meet my counterparts I emphasise to them the importance of avoiding action which will cost jobs in the Community. The promotion of employment growth, enterprise and help for unemployed people will be a top priority for the United Kingdom Presidency.
