To ask the Secretary of State for Employment what discussions she has had with TEC chairmen about adequate funding for TECs.

My right hon. Friend has already met TEC chairmen on a number of occasions and will do so on a regular basis. The purpose of those meetings is to ensure that TECs continue to play an effective part in meeting our training and enterprise objectives.
