The licensee, now Elf Enterprise (Caledonia) Ltd, was granted a licence in 1991 to explore for and to produce oil and gas lying under block 98-112. No separate licence or permission is needed by the licensee to carry out the seismic survey. The company carried out consultations prior to beginning the survey, and I understand adjusted its plans as a consequence.
