What response they have made to the UNHCR appeal for assistance to refugees in Kenya and what aid they are providing for drought stricken areas of Kenya.
§ The Minister of State, Foreign and Commonwealth Office (Baroness Chalker of Wallasey)On 5th June I announced a pledge of £1 million to the UNHCR appeal. A further £l million is being given to WFP and CARE to help supply, transport, distribute and monitor food for 500,000 Kenyans in the most seriously affected districts of northern Kenya.
