§ Mr. AtkinsUnder the Tourism (Northern Ireland) Order 1992, the board carries out an annual statutory inspection of hotels to ensure that premises meet minimum standards and, as necessary, in response to complaints. In addition, under a voluntary scheme annual inspections are carried out to determine the classification and grading of hotels.
