Whether, on assuming the presidency of the EC, they will seek to develop a firm EC policy on the withdrawal of Russian troops from the Baltic Republics.
§ Baroness TrumpingtonThe Government already liaise closely with EC partners on this important question. During the presidency we will continue to press the Russian Government to agree with each Baltic state an early timetable for the withdrawal of former Soviet forces.
