§ Mr. MatesAll appointments to public bodies are made on merit and the particular expertise which each individual 51W brings to the post. I will continue to ensure that sufficient numbers of women's names appear on the list of candidates submitted for consideration to increase substantially the representation of women on all public bodies in Northern Ireland.
