§ Mr. Llew SmithTo ask the Secretary of State for National Heritage if he will make a statement on arrangements made to establish a new library for his Department.
§ Mr. KeyMy Department is actively working towards setting up the full range of services necessary to a department of state. Divisions are currently using the library facilities provided by their former parent Departments, but it is likely to be the case that we will be instituting our own library services in due course. Full consideration will be given to the provision of these services and it may be that there will be scope for contracting them out.
