§ Mr. AitkenFurther to my answer of 9 March,Official Report, column 428, the package of assistance is being provided to the former Soviet Union as a gift. The 1992–93 costs, of which £10 million is being charged to the reserve, will be met from class I, vote 2, subhead H8, subject to parliamentary approval of the necessary summer supplementary estimate.
