The running costs provision for class VI, vote 1 will be decreased by £1,378,000 from £329,474,000 to £328,096,000 changing the departmental running costs limits from £1,206,423,000 to £1,205,045,000. This change is the net effect of transfers to the Department of Trade and Industry (class IV, vote 2) and the Department of National Heritage (class XII, vote 4), and transfers from the Home Office (class IX, vote 3) and the Cabinet Office (class XIX, vote 2), reflecting the transfers of various responsibilities between these Departments and my own.
