HC Deb 04 June 1992 vol 208 cc633-4W
Mr. Burns

To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether there will he any changes to the Treasury's running costs limits in 1992–93.

Mr. Nelson

The Treasury's running costs limit for 1992–93 is being increased by £1,290,000 from £90,913,000 to £92,203,000. This increase reflects the net effect of staff and functions transferred to the Treasury from the Department of Trade and Industry, and from the Treasury to the Cabinet Office—OPPS. This change will be reflected in a token supplementary estimate which will be presented for parliamentary approval in due course.
