§ Mr. Douglas HoggThe United Kingdom and its EC partners recognised Slovenia and Croatia as independent sovereign states on 15 January, and Bosnia-Herzegovina on 7 April. Recognition of Macedonia has been delayed on account of Greek concerns. We reserve our position of the status of the recently self-proclaimed Federal Republic of Yugoslavia.
