31. Mr. Robert HughesTo ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what representations he is making to the South African Government to end the visa restrictions placed upon British citizens who have taken part in anti-apartheid activities.
§ Mr. Lennox-BoydI understand that the South African Government are prepared to consider lifting visa restrictions on receipt of requests by the individuals concerned. The British Government have in the past made individual representations to the South African Government where visas have been refused.
