§ Mr. David ShawTo ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer what discussions he has had with the Governor of the Bank of England regarding the role of banks and other financial institutions involved in lending currency and share dealing transactions with the late Mr. Robert Maxwell and companies connected with him; and if he will raise issues of public concern arising from those transactions with the Governor when he next meets him.
