Mr. Raynsford

To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will publish a table setting out the average rent level, region by region, for housing association lettings in each of the years from 1979 to 1991, identifying assured tenancy rents separately from the fair rents from 1989 onwards and indicating the annual percentage increase in rents in each year by comparison with the retail price index.
