HC Deb 02 June 1992 vol 208 cc380-1W
Mr. Flynn

To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment what response his Department has had to the brochure, "Green Rights and Responsibilities: a Citizen's Guide to the Environment", published by his Department earlier this year; and how many copies of the green citizens charter have been published, and at what cost to date.

Mr. Maclean

This booklet has received a positive response from members of the public, local authorities, companies and voluntary groups. One million copies have been published at a total cost of £119,000. My Department has held initial discussions of the document with the local authority associations and I look forward to developing those discussions further.
