§ Mr. BaldryWe have no plans to introduce statutory guide lines. Paragraphs 53 to 71 of my Department's circular 8/87 give general policy guidance to planning authorities about control of development, including outdoor advertisements, in conservation areas. The Government intend to issue later this year a consultative draft of a new planning policy guidance note about listed buildings and conservation areas.
