§ Mr. Tony BanksTo ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department when he expects the Boundary Commission for England to begin its review of the parliamentary boundaries in London; what work has already been undertaken in this regard; when submissions will be invited from interested individuals and organisations prior to the publication of provisional recommendations; and from what date submissions will be invited.
§ Mr. Peter LloydI understand that the Boundary Commission for England has not yet decided when it will start work on its review of parliamentary boundaries in London. However, the practice of the commission is not to undertake consultation prior to publication of its provisional recommendations. When such recommendations have been published, representations with respect to the proposed recommendations may be made to the commission within the statutory period of one month after the date of publication.
§ Mr. Barry JonesTo ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will give the names of the Parliamentary Boundary Commissioners for Wales.
