For 1991–92 the information is as follows:
Department of Social Security and its agencies (other than Benefits Agency) £ millions Expenditure in 1991–92 for television advertising was 4.396 for radio advertising was 0.626 for newspaper advertising was 0.772 for other information material was 4.552 Provision for the 1992⤓93 Social Security budget is £13.68 million. Decisions on media have not been made.
The Benefits Agency
For expenditure for 1991–92
for television, radio and press advertising was NIL;
for other materials (leaflets, posters, etc) was £6.55 million. Provision for the 1992–93 Benefits Agency budget is £8.261 million.
