How many remand and sentenced prisoners were held in police cells on each day since 18th February 1992.

The total numbers of prisoners held in police cells on each day (excluding weekends) since 18th February are shown in the attached table. I regret that the information is not collected in a way that enables remand prisoners to be distinguished from sentenced prisoners, but most would have been held on remand.
