§ Mr. MacleanThe United Kingdom gave £4.5 millionߞUS$7.7 million-to the United Nations Environment Fund this year, £0.5 million more than our contribution in 1991. This is the second successive annual increase in the United Kingdom's contribution and makes the United Kingdom the largest single contributor to the environment fund. I would urge other countries to make similarly generous contributions to this important work.
