§ Mr. Gwilym JonesMy right hon. Friend has received no representations advocating the maintenance of each district council in Mid-Glamorgan in their present form. There is widespread support, in Mid-Glamorgan as elsewhere, for replacement of the present district councils and county councils by unitary authorities.
