To ask the President of the Board of Trade what proposals the Trade Council expects to receive from the Commission on the harmonisation of extra-European Community export controls during the United Kingdom presidency.

Mr. Needham

I expect to receive proposals shortly from the European Commission on the harmonisation of export controls on dual-use goods.
