Mr. Stewart

Information in the form requested could be provided only at disproportionate cost. In the period 1 April 1984 to 30 June 1992, over 11,000 projects in Scotland have benefited from regional assistance grant offers. Details, including the level of grant, the company name and the location of the project, of projects assisted by regional development grant or regional selective assistance, where the grant exceeds certain values, are published quarterly in "Department of Employment Gazette"—tables 9.6 and 9.8. Similar details were published in "British Business" until this publication ceased in September 1989. Copies of both publications are in the Library. Details of projects receiving regional enterprise grants are not published.
