Mr. Jonathan Evans

To ask the Secretary of State for Health, pursuant to his answer of 16 June,Official Report, columns 477–78, if he will list the other 11 countries involved in the agreement with the Romanian Committee for Adoption, and if the age conditions are the same for all those countries.

I understand from the Romanian Committee for Adoptions that as of 10 July 1992. the following countries have signed an agreement with it:

  • Belgium
  • Canada
  • Cyprus
  • Denmark
  • Finland
  • France
  • Holland
  • Italy
    • 740
  • Norway
  • Sweden
  • Switzerland
  • United Kingdom
  • United States of America.

I have been advised that the age conditions are the same for all countries.
