HC Deb 15 July 1992 vol 211 cc706-7W
Ms. Ruddock

To ask the right hon. Member for Berwick-upon-Tweed, as representing the House of Commons Commisison, pursuant to his answer of 1 July,Official Report, column 567, if the Commission will make it its policy to ensure that stocks of recycled stationery are permanently kept in all the stationery cupboards adjacent to offices, regardless of whether or not a particular demand has been identified.

Mr. Beith

This is a matter for the Administration Committee now that it has been set up. However, I understand that, in order to make the most effective use of the limited space available, it is the practice to adjust the variety of stock items in stationery cupboards, including recycled stationery, to meet the particular demands of users as they arise.
